JOB TITLE
ENGINEERING MANAGER (Local & Expat)
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes, budgets, and timelines and making any necessary adjustments in order to ensure successful project completion in the Oil & Gas industry
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for developing the overall concept of a new product or for solving the technical problems that prevent the completion of a project
- supervise the work of their employees, set schedules, and create administrative procedures
- Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by
- Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects
- Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes
- Develop business plans which deliver year-on-year performance efficiencies through a Continuous Improvement culture, as well as establish longer term investment decisions that reduce operational costs by improving project deliveries and efficiencies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A good University degree in any engineering discipline
- A minimum of 15 years design engineering post-graduation experience out of which 3 should have been spent at a managerial level within an engineering design practice in the Oil and Gas or related EPC industry
- Experience in managing budgets and programme delivery
