JOB TITLE
PRE COMMISIONING/COMMISIONING ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY
To oversee all Pre-commissioning/Commissioning Engineering in the Oil and Gas Environment according to demand and quality standards. The staff will ensure and assist with commissioning and supervision of installation of systems, plants and equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all aspects of a building or construction project are properly designed, installed, tested and maintained
- Perform troubleshooting tasks, monitor progress, perform tests, conduct audits, assist in financial improvements, write reports and assist clients
- Provide Pre-Construction guidelines for the rest of the team. This guidance can take the form of drawings, budgets, procedural modifications and more
- Responsible for thorough site inspections once a project is underway, these inspections can be focused on electrical systems, structural integrity, materials used, safety codes and industry standards
- Help ensure the on schedule handover and validation of all sites electrical system in accordance with internal and external regulations with the project schedule.
SKILLS/COMPETENCE
- Excellent knowledge on relevant technical expertise (for testing, design, development and operations) and quality control principles
- Experience in Oil & Gas Project within Tropical Environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems ( MS PROJECT)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong Management and Team animation capabilities is mandatory
- Good Leadership style and Team player
- Excellent communication abilities
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning Engineering Construction activities
- Minimum of 15 Years in various Oil & Gas Projects with focus on EPC Commissioning experience
